Amber is the ancient form of tree resin. It has undergone a number of changes over millions of years. The result of this metamorphosis is an exceptional gem with extraordinary properties.

Amber is unique among earthen treasures for its inherent warmth, and connects us with our past. Amber cannot be created by human effort, although many have tried and failed. The resin of trees today cannot be simply heated nor treated to create authentic amber.

Amber coming from the Baltic region is the most famous. It mostly comes in cognac, honey, green, yellow, cream and ivory color. However, there are over 200 color varieties.

 

Because it's an organic substance, it is lightweight and warm to the touch. No two pieces are alike.
